Prince Charles visits Glenmorangie

- 3/8/2013

On Wednesday 31 July His Royal Highness Prince Charles visited Glenmorangie Distillery and was welcomed by Mrs Janet Bowen Lord-Lieutenant for Ross and Cromarty.

Prince Charles toured the Distillery, met the staff, tasted a dram (or two), unveiled a plaque to mark his visit and was photographed with the 24 men of Tain (up from the original 16 due to expansion).

During the visit Prince Charles was able to bid farewell to the retiring Chief Executive of The Highland Council, Alastair Dodds and to the outgoing secretary to the Lieutenancy, June Forsyth.

All photographs were taken by John Paul who has kindly given access to the Lieutenancy website.
