In December Lord-Lieutenant Janet Bowen presented a card from HM The Queen to mark the 100th Birthday of Mrs Jessie MacKenzie who for more than 40 years ran the post office at Knockfarrel.

Jessie was joined by family, friends and fellow residents at the Ballifeary House residential home in Inverness, where she has stayed happily for the past year and a half.
