						 <p>A Dingwall teenager has been appointed as the Lord-Lieutenant's cadet for Ross-Shire.</p> <p>Cadet Company Sergeant Major Casey MacKenzie (18) was presented with her certificate by Lord Lieutenant Janet Bowen at the end of gruelling exercise at Fort George.</p> <p>Casey has been an army cadet for the last 6 years and during that time she has completed her Four Star Certificate and will complete her Silver Duke of Edinburgh's Award in July.</p> <p>She has also represented the Army Cadet Force in Scotland at Tug 'o War and her Battalion at football. Casey is a qualified instructor and teaches cadets at Dingwall Platoon in a wide range of subjects.</p> <p>She is currently helping in a nursing home but hopes to follow a career in the police.</p>
